Biography and Profile
Originally from Switzerland and now based in Chicago, Luisa Bott is a producer, cinematographer, editor, colorist, animator, and independent filmmaker. Her work centers on meaningful visual storytelling, creative collaboration, and cross-cultural connection.
As Co-Founder and Managing Member of Big Monster Studio LLC, Luisa guides the company’s creative vision and production strategy. She works across original films and freelance assignments, supporting projects from early development and production planning through cinematography, editing, color finishing, and final delivery.
Luisa graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television, concentrating in Cinematography and minoring in Animation. Her experience includes producing, cinematography, camera operation, editing, color correction, color grading, animation, event videography, documentary work, branded content, and independent film production.
Her goal is to help build Big Monster Studio into a creative home where filmmakers, artists, businesses, agencies, and nonprofit organizations can find practical production support and thoughtful creative collaboration.
