Ying Su is a director, writer, assistant director, and digital imaging technician whose interests include narrative filmmaking, advertising, creative development, and virtual production. Her combination of creative direction and technical production knowledge complements Luisa Bott’s strengths in producing, cinematography, editing, and color finishing.
Ying is expected to join Big Monster Studio full-time as Studio Manager in 2027, helping guide studio operations, production coordination, creative development, and the expansion of emerging production workflows.
Ying brings a complementary perspective to Big Monster Studio through directing, writing, assistant directing, digital imaging, advertising, and virtual production. Her work expands the studio’s ability to support projects that combine traditional filmmaking with emerging production methods.
She contributes both creative and organizational strengths, helping shape how the studio can serve independent filmmakers, commercial clients, and collaborative production teams.

Beginning in 2027, Ying is expected to serve as Studio Manager. In that position, she will help oversee internal organization, production coordination, creative planning, partnerships, and the continued development of Big Monster Studio’s advertising and virtual production capabilities.
Her role is designed to complement Luisa’s leadership in production and post-production, allowing the founders to build a multidisciplinary studio around their different but connected strengths.
